Arrival at Entebbe Airport

Arrive at Entebbe International Airport, where you will be met by your Mooi adventures Uganda safari guide. After a brief tour overview, we will bring you to your accommodation in Entebbe to unwind before your adventure safari.

 Rhino tracking in Ziwa and transfer to Murchison Falls National Park.

After breakfast, start your journey north to Murchison Falls National Park. On the way, you’ll stop at Ziwa Rhino Ranch for rhino tracking on foot, Uganda’s only spot to observe white rhinos in the wild.
Following the adventure, we will travel to the park, arriving in the afternoon, and see the top of the thunderous and magnificent Murchison Falls, where the Nile squeezes through a tight valley before rushing down with amazing power.

Take an early morning game drive over the park’s northern side of the park in search for lions, elephants, giraffes, buffaloes, hyenas, and several antelope species, bird species like the Bustards, Vultures that scavenge on circus, Kites and many more.

Take a leisurely boat safari down the Nile in the afternoon to see the falls from below. Hippos, elephants, waterbucks, crocodiles, and a variety of birds, including African Fish Eagles, Bee Eaters, Herons, Crakes, and others, can be found in large numbers along the riverbanks. After the experience, we will head back to our hotel to unwind and spend the night.

Transfer to Kibale Forest National Park

After breakfast, travel through picturesque countryside, tea plantations, and tiny rural settlements on our way to Kibale National Park. Before arriving at Kibale Forest National Park, we will stop for lunch at Fort Portal

Arrive in the afternoon and spend a restful evening at your rain forest surrounded lodge.

Chimpanzee Tracking and Bigodi Wetland Nature Walk

Before going into the bush for a thrilling chimpanzee tracking experience in Kibale National Park, we will go to the park headquarters in the morning for a briefing, regarding the guidelines we must adhere to for the chimpanzee’s protection, the preservation of the forest.

Kibale is recognized as the world’s primate capital, home to 13 species of primates, including the red-tailed, black, and white colobus monkeys, butterflies and many bird species make the experience even more enjoyable. The trek will last between 30-minutes and 4 hours, and when you meet the chimps, you will only have an hour to observe them playing, feeding, grooming each other, and going about their daily lives before returning.

In the afternoon, we will have a community tour to witness how coffee is picked and brewed from fire to cup, as well as other community activities.

After breakfast, we will take a guided Bigodi swamp and nature walk along a beautiful path at the edge of the forest,

Transfer to Queen Elizabeth National Park

where we may see monkeys, birds, and beautiful flora and fauna, before driving south to Queen Elizabeth National Park, which offers scenic views of crater lakes and the Rwenzori Mountains, Arrive in the afternoon, settle into our accommodation, and then go on an evening game drive in search of lions, leopards, and other animals.
